SPEND A WEEK ON A GOZO ISLAND (MALTA) LEARNING TO DANCE HULA, VISITING SACRED PLACES ON GOZO AND EATING VEGETARIAN FOOD IN AN EASY, LOW PACED WAY.

WORKSHOP PROGRAM

LOCATION

Gozo is a tiny island separated from Malta by a 30 min cruise by ferry. It is known for its slow paced life, spectacular views, stunning cliffs, clean environment and tasty local food. It takes only about 30 min to get from one corner of the island to the other one. Basically wherever you look, you will see the sea. Gozo was chosen by Angelina Jolie to shoot the famous movie „By the sea”. The island is on a „must visit” list of many explorers of the ancient life because the remains of the buildings date back to 4000 BC which make them even older than Egyptian pyramids.

ACCOMODATION

A luxurious farmhouse situated in a tranquil neighborhood of Ghasri overlooking the famous T’a Piniu shrine. Nearest restaurant is 900 m away, grocery shop 600 m away, Victoria (a capital city) 1000 m away, bus stop 56 m away, nearest beach of Dwejra is 4 km away.

  • 7 bedrooms for two (4 double bed & 3 single bed) each with private bathroom – 9 bathrooms (total)

FOOD

3 meals delivered or made for us on the spot by gorgeous Corinna Trione from Sacred Food who uses local food produced on the island.

HULA DANCE

2 hours a day after breakfast you are gonna learn how to move your hips to the sound of gentle Hawaiian music. 

Hula dance is a vital part of Hawaiian culture, it is said to be a voice of the Hawaiian soul. Hula is so much more than just a dance, it is the legacy of the Hawaiian traditional values. Hula is danced bare feet in a wide skirt or some pareo wrapped around your hips. It brings many positive effects to your body, while swaying your hips you put in motion your whole spine, strengthen your body as well as you raise your vibrations. By many, hula is perceived as a meditation in movement.

EXCURSIONS

Trips to ancient places of power done by local guides, the places are hidden from official guide books included

  • more than 6000 years old ancient temples
  • off road tracks
  • secret caves overlooking the sea

Trips to be planned on the location as they are weather dependable.

SUN GREETINGS

Every morning we will go to the beach and facing East we are going to chant a special Hawaiian chant that will help us start the day in positive vibes.

EASY EVENING

In the evenings free time can be spent by giving or receiving a massage. If you do massages or any other form of therapy you can do one and get one in exchange. If you don’t do massages u can always buy one.
Transport on the island You don’t have to worry about it, it will be taken care of cars are gonna be waiting for us to take us on the trips around the island.

POSSIBLE DAILY SCHEDULE

6.30 – sun greeting on the beach
8.00 – yoga
9.00 – healthy breakfast
10.00/12.00 – hula dancing
13.00 – healthy lunch snacks
15.00/18.00 – excursions on the island
19.00 – healthy dinner
20.00/22.00 – therapy exchange
